This Sources Sought is for market research purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code anticipated is 324121, "Asphalt Paving Mixture and Block Manufacturing". The applicable Small Business size standard is 500 employees. The 30th Contracting Squadron is seeking commercial sources with the technical expertise to provide the following items via a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the 30th Civil Engineer Squadron (30 CES) on Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB), CA in accordance with (IAW) the Statement of Work (SOW): CLIN 0001 - ASPHALT TYPE B 3/8" HMA, PG 64-10 OIL Est. 525 TON TYPE B 1/2" HMA, PG 64-10 OIL Est. 250 TON TYPE B 3/4" HMA, PG 64-10 OIL Est. 20 TON SC 800 OIL, COLD MIX Est. 200 TON CLIN 0002 - FEES Delivery Charge Est. 50 HRS Environmental Charge Est. 50 EA CLIN 0003 - SS1H TACK COAT Bonding Agent Est. 100 GAL Interested parties are requested to address the questions in the Market Research Questionnaire. The draft Statement of Work (SOW) is posted with this notice and interested parties are encouraged to submit industry comments and/or suggested changes to the SOW. Respondents are also encouraged to submit information regarding commercial practices that the Government should consider implementing for this acquisition. As noted in the Market Research Questionnaire, the Government requests interested parties submit a brief description of capabilities, anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar service offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Any responses involving teaming arrangements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. All information received in response to this announcement that is marked "Proprietary" will be handled accordingly. Responses will not be returned.
