Full Description

The Owner is seeking consulting and support services to advance the capabilities of asset management at the County of Lambton. The Owner is seeking an arrangement for consulting and support services that focus on adding value to the process and knowledge of County Staff and achieve compliance for provincial regulations under O.Reg.588/17. Through the scope of work, opportunities to develop capacity, teach staff, or transfer knowledge should be emphasized. Where there is benefit to doing so, County staff should be used to complete tasks in lieu of the consultant. The consultant will need to work closely with the Owner's asset management staff as well as the departments responsible for each asset category in preparatory tasks. The intention is to ensure a consistent approach to each asset category, completed through a close working relationship with County staff. Through this approach, the consultant will need to ensure that staff can assume full ownership of their assets and documentation. The request for consulting services is motivated by a combination of strategic initiatives and regulatory requirements. See Proposal Document for further details
