Asset Management System RFP

The Town of Atherton is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive Asset Management Software (AMS) solution to support its Public Works Department. The objective is to implement a system that maximizes operational efficiency, simplifies asset inventory, and manages preventative and annual maintenance for municipal facilities, parks, and future infrastructure. The required solution must be a commercial off-the-shelf product providing a single-vendor approach for software, implementation, training, and technical support. The evaluation is based on a 100-point scale, with the highest weight placed on the quality of the work plan (50 points), followed by cost (30 points), firm background (10 points), staff qualifications (5 points), and references (5 points). The resulting contract will have an initial term of up to three years, with the Town holding the option to renew for up to three additional one-year terms, for a total potential duration of six years. Performance will take place at various Town of Atherton facilities, and the award will be based on a best-value trade-off approach.
