Full Description

The 5th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit competitively for relocation and reconnection of government Air Traffic Control And Landing Systems (ATCALS) communications equipment in the new Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Base Operations building at Minot AFB, ND. The contractor shall engineer, furnish, install and test to accomplish the relocation and reconnection of government Air Traffic Control And Landing Systems (ATCALS) communications equipment in the new Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Base Operations building. The new ATCT and Base Operations facilities are under construction at Minot AFB, ND. The equipment to be relocated includes; Enhanced Terminal Voice Switch (ETVS) AN/FSC-127; Air-Field Automation System (AFAS); Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS AN/FSQ-204) Terminal Display Workstation (TDW); Digital Voice Record System (DVRS); FDIO system; Tower Single-Channel backup radios(GRR/GRT-21/23 and GRR/GRT-22/24); Tower Multichannel backup radios(GRC-171 and GRC-211); ILS and TACAN Remote System Indicators (RSI), and AN/FMQ-19 weather system. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, labor, supervision, management, equipment tests / results, and other incidentals necessary to meet the requirements as stated in the SOW. A Firm-Fixed Price Performance-Based contract will result from this posting, with the period of performance to commence on or about 15 February 2013. This action is set-aside 100% for Small Business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 517110 with a small business size standard of 1500 Employees. The successful contractor will be selected using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures, representing the best value to the Government.
