Individual awards are capped at 1.5 million dollars per agency for a 36-month contract period. The NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking to purchase eight new Can-Am Outlander 570 or equivalent all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) designed for park police operations within Saratoga Spa State Park. The vehicles must be black or gray, with a minimum 500cc engine, four-wheel drive, and equipped with features such as an XT front bumper, integrated heated grips and thumb throttle, heated visor outlet, USB power outlet kit, Warn VRX 25 winch with remote control and wire harness, a large trunk box on the rear rack, and a rear hitch. The total procurement cost should cover installation, testing, and transportation, but exclude registration, licensing, and taxes. The contractor must notify the Fleet Lieutenant upon delivery for the installation of any non-factory features. The solicitation emphasizes good faith efforts to include Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) in subcontracting, although there are no set-aside goals for disadvantaged or service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. The contract is a one-time purchase with a submission deadline of January 26, 2024, and the vendor must have prior experience with similar contracts, such as Dutchess Recreational Vehicles. The primary contact for this procurement is Claudette Hennessy, and further details are available through the NY State procurement portal.
