THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS; IT IS STRICTLY A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). NEITHER UNSOLICITED PROPOSALS NOR ANY OTHER TYPES OF OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED IN RESPONSE TO THIS RFI. This sources sought/market research notice is conducted in accordance with FAR Part 10. The Air Force Material Command (AFMC), Lackland AFB TX is currently performing market research to determine what types of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software solutions exist for audio analysis. AFMC seeks responses to this RFI from commercial sources to indicate what type(s) of audio analysis software they currently offer. In responding to this RFI, respondents should indicate whether current solution(s) are available that could meet the mandatory requirements as identified in the attached Statement of Work. Finally, AFMC seeks commercial price list information (or possible range of pricing if commercial price list does not exist) for software solutions currently available in the marketplace. Pricing should reflect how current software is currently priced and structured for commercial marketplace sales, including any tiered pricing that is available. Respondents should email responses and, if available, commercially available literature and commercial price list information to isaac.jones@us.af.mil or richard.bremer@us.af.mil no later than 3 December 2010. Such responses will be used to assist AFMC in determining how to construct minimum requirements in the event that procurement is conducted in the future.
