The City of Chico is seeking qualified and licensed Audio/Visual contractors to perform a comprehensive, turnkey upgrade of the A/V system at the Fire Training Center and Emergency Operations Center, with all bids due by 1:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on July 28, 2026. The contract requires the selected contractor to supply all labor, materials, equipment, and necessary permits to complete the project within 120 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must hold a current California C-7 (Low Voltage Systems) license, and a C-10 (Electrical) license if any line-voltage work is involved. Upon award, the contractor must obtain and maintain a valid City of Chico Business License for the duration of the project. All questions and requests for information must be submitted via the Public Purchase bid portal no later than seven calendar days before the bid opening, and responses will be posted publicly on the same site. The awarded contractor is required to provide evidence of appropriate insurance coverage and performance and labor and materials bonds in accordance with the contract terms.
