Notice of Contract Action for a Sole Source Procurement SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR the purchase of Automated Key Control System services. DESC: INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH Federal Key, LLC. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source Firm-Fixed-Price service contract to Federal Key, LLC, 4010 Soleado Dr. Wesley Chapel, NC 28104. The Sole Source purchase will be for the following commercial services: 24 hours 365 days system repair replace Keytrack Computer System including CPU, Color Monitor, Zip Drive Back Up, Printer and 8-240 Key Drawers (see attach Performance Work Statment (PWS) for additional information). All Keytrak Key Control software License-GEM Plus Version, and three on-site visits annually. Federal Key LLC is currently contracted to provide support for the Keytrak System that was bought and installed by KeyTrak System Inc. Keytrak is a registered trademark of KeyTrak, Inc. the developer and manufacturer of the KeyTrak automated key control system. The proposed contractor is the sole reseller of all the Keytrak Government products and service to provide the most reliable and customized key and asset management solution service. The proposed contractor can immediately support the required Keytrak support services. Federal Key LLC has personnel that meet or exceed the qualifications needed for system supports, as well as unique detailed knowledge of the Keytrak System. Personnel proficient with the operation and maintenance of Keytrak System and their application. - Personnel familiar with the Keytrak automated key control system, system operation, resources, equipment, proper telephone support handling, and repair (hardware and software application). - Federal Key, LLC is the only known source that can satisfy the requirements of the Government at this time. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the Automated Key Control System services. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. If AFTC/PZIOB has not received any affirmative written responses by Close of Business (COB), 16 Jul 2018, a Sole Source contract award will be pursued with Federal Key, LLC.
