Nature of Requirements:
Request for proposal amendment no. 002 is issued to extend the solicitation period to December 20, 2022.
The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has a requirement for the procurement of new Automatic Identification System (AIS) Physical Shore Station (PSS) which support the AIS network across Canada. The requirement will also include provisions to obtain spares parts, documentation, training and In-service support.
The contract will be valid from the date of issuance of the contract for a period of five (5) years with five (5) additional one-year option periods.
The contract agreement objectives are to procure, subject to funding, new AIS PSS to the geographic distribution of a total of 28 Electronic workshops which support the AIS network. Those workshops are distributed as follows:
• Arctic 2 workshop • Atlantic North: 6 workshops • Atlantic South: 5 workshops • St. Lawrence River: 6 workshops • Great-Lakes: 5 workshops • Pacific: 4 workshops
Finally, CCG has a college located in Sydney NS for operational and technical training.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
