The Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) has a requirement for one (1) new Automatic Wiring Analyzer (AWA) Test Stand, for the E-2D Platform, to include: manufacture, pre-shipment/Point-of-Origin testing, shipping, rigging, assembly, start-up, testing, commissioning, and training. FRCSW currently uses a DIT-MCO produced AWA that uses Test Assistance II (TA2) proprietary software. This software is used by both DIT-MCO and the E2-D OEM to generate test programs. For these reasons, the government intends to procure this product on a sole source basis from DIT-MCO International LLC. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within fourteen (14) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government Point of contact for this requirement is Abbey Clements at abbey.r.clements.civ@us.navy.mil.
