Wyssen Canada Demonstration of Avalanche Detection Network (IDA) for the Boundary Avalanche Paths East of Revelstoke.Notice is hereby given that the Ministry of Transportation and Transit is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Wyssen Canada (the “Supplier”).The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below.Wyssen Canada will provide a demonstration of their Avalanche Detection Network (IDA) for the 2025-2026 winter. The total cost will be shared 50/50 with Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) railway as the system covers avalanche paths that affect the CPKC right of way. The cost of the demonstration will cover consumables and license fees.
