AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Air Force, through the 423rd Supply Chain Management Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, is conducting market research to identify qualified sources for the new manufacture of Axial Piston Pumps with part number 51197 and NSN 4320-01-564-1570HS, intended for use on the B-52 platform. This effort, identified by Notice ID FD20302700085 and classified under NAICS code 336413 with a size standard of 1,250 employees, is not a solicitation and no contract will be awarded based on responses. The government seeks input from all types of businesses including small businesses, 8(a) firms, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone companies, and women-owned small businesses to assess market capability and determine if the requirement can be competed or set aside for small business participation. The estimated requirement is for 33 units, and potential suppliers must demonstrate the ability to handle full-cycle manufacturing including component procurement, inspection, testing, packaging, shipping, supply chain management, and mitigation of diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages. Responses are to be submitted via the “Add Me to Interested Vendors” button by the deadline of August 12, 2026, at 4:59 a.m. Central Standard Time, and all communications must be directed to the workflow email 423scms.guea.workflow@us.af.mil. The government will use the collected information solely to inform future acquisition strategy, including possible segmentation by airframe, and will not evaluate or reward submissions. There are no funds allocated for this market research effort, and no obligation is created for the government by publishing this notice. Potential vendors are advised that nonrecurring engineering costs may be incurred to qualify as an approved source, and unit pricing will be determined at the time of any future contract award. The place of performance for any resulting contract will be Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.
