The Boeing Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the E-3 AWACS Transducer. The Transducer is a non-commercial item which was manufactured and acquired specifically as a military application for use aboard the E-3 AWACS aircraft. There are no other known assets that meet the form, fit and functional requirements necessary for use on the AWACS aircraft. This is a contract effort to cover repair of priority backorders. Period of Performance (PoP) for this acquisition is estimated to be completed not later than one year after award.
