B-2 Interface Processor

The Department of Defense, through Ok DLA Aviation at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, has issued a Sources Sought notice for the new manufacture of the B-2 Interface Processor, identified by part number 292A900-21 and national stock number 5895-01-577-5557, with an initial requirement for five units. This effort is purely for market research and planning purposes, with no active solicitation or contractual commitment at this time. Interested parties must provide comprehensive business information including company name, address, CAGE code, point of contact, phone, email, web page, Unique Entity ID, and ownership status—specifying whether the business is domestically or foreign owned, and if foreign, the country of ownership. Respondents must also certify their socioeconomic status under NAICS code 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing), indicating eligibility as a Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a) Certified, HUBZone Certified, Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The requirement involves full new manufacture including procurement of components, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging, and shipping, with supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead item procurement, and resolution of diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages being critical responsibilities. All responses must be submitted electronically by May 29, 2026, to the designated email address, and any Source Approval Request (SAR) packages must be submitted through the DoD SAFE portal. Engineering drawing requests require submission via Excel spreadsheet to the Tinker Engineering Drawings Public Sales Desk. Oral submissions are not accepted, and vendors must actively select the “ADD ME TO INTERESTED VENDORS” button on the SAM.gov posting to be considered participants. Unit prices will be established only at the time of any future contract award, and the place of performance is confirmed as Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, with no defined period of performance or delivery schedule.
