The B-52 Training System Program Office would like to note significant changes to the proposed acquisition strategy from what was briefed during Industry Days 24 - 26 March 2009. The Program will remain a small business set aside for both CLS and modifications. However, the government reserves the right to solicit and award contract modifications seperatlely where required. The contract will also pursue a 5 year period of performance instead of 10 years. Additionally, the proposed strategy will include a request to provide proposals to implement CONECT on the Weapon System Trainer (WST), Offensive Station Mission Trainer (OSMT), Communication Part Task Trainer (COMPTT), Electronic Warfare Trainer (T4), and the Bomb-Navigation System Trainer (BSNT). As a reminder, the proposed acquisition has not been approved and is still draft. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Catherine Wolfe @ 801-777-4711 or Valerie Laughter @ 801-586-0029.
