SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT This is a Sources Sought announcement only. This is not a request for proposals, quotations, or bids. This is not a synopsis of a proposed contract action under FAR Subpart 5.2 and no purchase order will be awarded from this notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow up information requests. No solicitation is currently available. The Bureau of Reclamation is conducting market research for a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Item Service contract machine vibration reporting. Work includes, a Test Plan to instrument and collect data on multiple generators to include all pertinent test procedures and general sensor/instrument installation drawings, and a foreign material exclusion (FME). Additionally, a summary report consisting of data collected, analysis of the data, and guidance as to the root cause of the vibrations and the path forward for further study and definitively identify the root cause of the vibration(s). The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541380, Testing Laboratories, with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 million. Interested parties may submit a response in an electronic format only via email to contact@example.gov no later than July 16, 2020, 10:00 AM (MDT).
