The purpose of this notice is to establish a Sole Source Requirements Type Contract for the purchase of Backplane Assemblies, NSN 5998-01-381-1301BY, part number 676-2127-040 from Rockwell Collins (Cage Code: 13499). IAW the Government Statement of Work, the Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for the Basic Year and Option Years 1 - 2 are: NSN Basic Yr Opt 1 Opt 2 5998-01-381-1301BY 3 3 3 The government does have a complete data package for the construction of the Backplane but it does not own next higher level assembly or the test data request for testing. Rockwell Collins is the Only Responsible Source. No other supplies and/or service will satisfy agency requirements per FAR 6.302. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in writing to edwin.prime.1@us.af.mil. Vendor looking for subcontracting opportunities need to contact Rockwell Collins. NO QUESTIONS MAY BE SUBMITTED VIA TELEPHONE. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov . However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included.
