Packaging must fully comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E, with Pack Code Q, Packing Level B, and Unit Container D3; intermediate containers are labeled DO with quantity AAA, and bulk packaging is strictly prohibited. Lot numbering adheres to DSCPM 4155.3 and MIL-STD-129, and all marking must follow MIL-STD-129 without special markings. The contract prohibits the intentional addition of mercury or mercury compounds in or on supplies, except in functional components like batteries, fluorescent lamps, sensors, or weapon systems, which must include a second containment boundary per NAVSEA 5100-003D.
