AI Contract Overview
The contract pertains to the procurement of elastic bandages designed for medical use, specifically intended to hold wet or dry dressings in place on adult fingers, toes, and circumcisions. These bandages feature an open netted design, come with an applicator, and are covered with nylon and polyester materials, ensuring they are latex-free. Each bandage is issued as a single unit and must have a shelf life of 36 months, with delivery restricted so that no more than five months have elapsed since the date of manufacture. Packaging requirements mandate that each unit be sealed in a container that protects against damage and breakage, with the outer shipping containers suitable for commercial transport and meeting required marking standards under Medical Marking Standard No. 1. The contract includes compliance with several technical and quality requirements specified in the DLA Master List, ensuring adherence to government standards. The specified NSN is 6510-01-088-8465 with a quantity of four units requested, and delivery is expected within 20 days after the order date. The solicitation is issued by the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain and handled through the Defense Logistics Agency, with contact information provided for coordination.
