B&F 25Z3AB3 FIRE SUPPRESSION DRY SYSTEMS

The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons at FCI Aliceville, Alabama, is seeking a responsible small business to replace dry fire suppression valves and air compressors installed in 2011, as part of a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 238210. The contract requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, and supplies to replace various sized dry valves and air compressors across the facility, with work to be completed within 120 calendar days of award. All replacements must use Reliable FX valves or technically equivalent equipment, subject to COR approval, and must be installed and tested by licensed fire suppression personnel. The work must adhere to NFPA, OSHA, seismic zone, environmental, and all applicable federal, state, and local codes. Each replaced valve must be inspected and documented with a report detailing type and size, and each building’s fire suppression system must undergo a full test with results submitted. Work is restricted to Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays, with all external deliveries coordinated through the COR at the Powerhouse (Utility Plant). Payment will be made electronically via SAM upon completion of defined end products, and all proposals must be submitted in English and U.S. dollars, with a statement of full agreement to contract terms.
