The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, California, intends to award a sole source contract to RuralWest Western Rural Broadband, Inc., to furnish and maintain official bulk cable television on Vandenberg AFB. For the proposed contract action, the Government intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, and 41 USC 1901 / 41 USC 1903. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. Any firm interested in the possibility of obtaining a future contract for providing cable television on Vandenberg AFB can contact the Contracting Officer to explore the process of requesting a franchise agreement for Vandenberg AFB.
