MI 2026-09 Waste Removal Collection Services
Solicitation # MI2026-09
Adams and Associates, Inc., operating the Miami Job Corps Center for the U.S. Department of Labor, is soliciting bids for weekly waste removal and recycling collection services under solicitation MI2026-09. The period of performance runs from November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2027, at the facility located in Miami, Florida. The scope of work requires the provision and servicing of one 6-yard solid waste container twice weekly, two 8-yard solid waste containers twice weekly, one 8-yard recycling container twice weekly, and one 4-yard recycling bin once weekly. This is a competitive procurement where the award will be granted to the most responsible bidder; while cost is a significant factor, the lowest bid does not guarantee selection. Eligible vendors must be registered in SAM.gov with a valid Unique Entity ID and hold all necessary business and employee licenses for the State of Florida. The contract is subject to Service Contract Act regulations, including specific wage determinations and paid sick leave requirements under Executive Order 13706, with payroll submissions required for service incidents exceeding 2,500 dollars. Mandatory insurance includes Workers Compensation and Comprehensive General Liability of at least 1,000,000 dollars per occurrence. Bids must be submitted on company letterhead by October 23, 2026, and must include a detailed cost breakdown, a W9, a Vendor Questionnaire, an Authority to Commit, and a Certificate of Liability Insurance. All contractor personnel must adhere to strict center security protocols, including searches and a prohibition on fraternization with students.

Commercial & Municipal Roll-Off Hauling Services
Solicitation # 2027-004
The City of Española, New Mexico, is soliciting competitive proposals under RFP 2027-004 for professional commercial and municipal roll-off container trash hauling services. The selected vendor will be responsible for the provision, delivery, and servicing of eight roll-off containers in 30-yard and 40-yard configurations. Services include the hauling of construction and demolition debris, furniture, yard waste, and metal from two city-owned yards and various designated businesses to authorized regional landfills. Landfill disposal fees must be billed as a direct pass-through of actual weights with zero vendor markup, supported by official scale tickets appended to monthly invoices. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Procurement Portal by November 3, 2026, at 3:00 pm local time. Submissions are limited to 30 pages and must include a Vendor Questionnaire, a W-9, proof of insurance, and a Campaign Contribution Disclosure Form. Award selection is based on a points-based evaluation, with 30% of the weight placed on the cost proposal and rate structure, specifically focusing on haul fee competitiveness and lease rate fairness.
