AI Contract Overview
The United States Air Force, through the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, is conducting market research to identify capable vendors for the design, procurement, and installation of a single floating dock at Bass Lake. This initiative is funded by nonappropriated funds, meaning it is supported by revenues generated from military community programs rather than federal tax dollars, and therefore is not subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The dock is intended to provide a safe and stable platform for launching and securing canoes, kayaks, and other self-propelled watercraft. While no formal solicitation currently exists, interested firms are invited to voluntarily submit capabilities packages demonstrating their ability to meet the technical requirements outlined in the draft statement of work. Submission is not guaranteed to lead to a contract, and respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in preparing their response. Proposals must be submitted via email to Tracy Ferrise and Ally Peterangelo no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time on July 9, 2026, with the subject line “Floating Dock Project at Bass Lake.” Each submission must not exceed five pages and must be contained in a single email under five megabytes in total size, including attachments. Only .pdf, .doc, .docx, .xlsx, or .xls files are permitted; .zip or .exe attachments will be rejected by the system. Responses must clearly confirm compliance with all technical specifications and provide detailed evidence of the vendor’s ability to deliver the required product. The North American Industry Classification System code for this effort is 326199, and the procurement is not designated for any specific set-aside.
