BATTERY BACKUP SYSTEM

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. Navy Medical Forces Atlantic intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with EOI, Inc. dba Medical Resources in Lewis Center, Ohio as the sole source provider for the Medicanix Battery Back-up Power Systems for multiple refrigerators and freezers in departments to include immunizations, pharmacy and laboratory. These refrigerators and freezers have temperature sensitive medications, supplies and labs which must be maintained when there is a power outage. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i). This notice will be distributed solely through the betaSAM.gov Website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the betaSAM site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 335999. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined the Navy Medical Forces Atlantic requirement can only be provided by EOI, Inc. dba Medical Resources as they are the sole provider to provide the requested service agreement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 0900 am, EST, 14 September 2020 by email to Regina Flowers, Contracting Officer, at contact@example.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
