Solicitation SPE7L7-26-Q-2447 is a firm fixed price request for quotations issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime for the procurement of battery sets, specifically MilPower Source, Inc. 5YWX2 P/N M357380. The requirement consists of three line items totaling six units to be delivered to the USS Ronald Reagan CVN 76 and the USS John P Murtha LPD 26. Delivery is required within 60 days after the order is placed, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the origin. The items are classified as critical application items and must adhere to a non-extendable six-month shelf-life requirement. The contract mandates strict compliance with various military standards, including MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, MIL-STD-129 for marking, and RP001 for palletization. Because the items are hazardous materials, the vendor must comply with IP025 and provide a HAZDEC form. Quality assurance is governed by MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, requiring zero non-conformances for acceptance. Award will be based on the best value to the government, evaluating price, offered delivery, and past performance. All shipping must be conducted via the fastest traceable means, and the use of parcel post is prohibited.
