Solicitation SPE7L7-27-Q-0148 is a request for quotations for the procurement of five storage batteries, specifically lead acid, valve regulated, AGM units (NSN 6140-01-465-3064). The items are designated as critical application items with a non-extendable shelf life of 24 months. This is a firm fixed price procurement with delivery required within 60 days after receipt of order (ADO). The shipping, inspection, and acceptance point is set as FOB Destination, with the delivery location being the DLA Distribution Depot at Puget Sound in Bremerton, Washington. The contract mandates strict adherence to technical and quality standards, including MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-129P(4) for marking, and MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging. Because the items are hazardous materials, the contractor must comply with IP025 for shipping and provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/PSDS) and a HAZDEC form per FED-STD-313. Quality assurance will be managed through sampling methods such as MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, requiring zero non-conformances for acceptance. Award will be based on the best value to the government, evaluating price, offered delivery, and past performance. Invoicing and payment must be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system.
