BATTERY, STORAGE
Solicitation # SPE7L7-27-T-0485
This procurement, issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) under solicitation SPE7L7-27-T-0485, is for the supply of sealed lead acid wet storage batteries, identified by NSN 6140014737857 and part number TY23020B. The requirement consists of multiple line items, each for a quantity of two units, with a total of eight batteries requested across four CLINs. These items are classified as Type I with a non-extendable shelf life of 12 months. Delivery is required within five days after order, with specific required delivery dates ranging from August 17, 2026, to November 4, 2026. The terms are FOB Destination, with shipments directed to locations in West Virginia, Ohio, and Alabama. The contract mandates strict adherence to quality and safety standards, including destination inspection per FAR 52.246-2 and sampling methods according to MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. Because the batteries are hazardous materials, the contractor must comply with IP025 for packaging, marking, and shipping, and provide Safety Data Sheets meeting 29 CFR 1910.1200(g). Packaging must follow MIL-STD-2073-1E and RP001, while marking must align with MIL-STD-129. Administrative requirements include electronic invoicing through the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system and compliance with various DFARS clauses regarding cybersecurity, the Buy American Act, and the prohibition of certain telecommunications equipment.
