Solicitation SPE7L7-26-T-5223 is a fixed-price request for quotations issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime for the procurement of two storage batteries, specifically Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid Battery packs Type I (NSN 6140-01-660-8557, P/N ANG1251BP). The items are designated as critical application items with a non-extendable 12-month shelf life. Delivery is required within 20 days after receipt of order, with a required delivery date of September 2, 2026, shipped FOB destination to the USS OREGON (SSN 793). The contract mandates strict adherence to DLA packaging and marking requirements, including MIL-STD-129 and RP001, with specific special marking code 32 for shelf-life items. Quality assurance is governed by MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, requiring zero non-conformances for acceptance at the destination point. Due to the nature of the supplies, the contractor must comply with hazardous material identification and safety data standards, including the Hazard Communication Standard and restrictions on the intentional addition of mercury. Offerors must also comply with the Buy American Act, the Berry Amendment, and cybersecurity requirements under DFARS 252.204-7012. All quotes must be submitted via the DIBBS system.
