This contract is for the procurement of storage batteries, specifically part number ZGS-10056-1 (NSN 6140016292973) from Zephyr International LLC. The agreement covers two separate line items, each for a quantity of two units, with a delivery requirement of 10 days after receipt of order. The batteries are identified as AGM chemistry with a non-extendable shelf life of 18 months. Key requirements include strict adherence to DLA packaging and marking standards, specifically MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-2073-1E. The contract mandates a zero-based sampling plan for quality assurance and prohibits the intentional addition of mercury, except where functionally required. Shipping must comply with hazardous materials regulations, specifically 49 CFR for nonspillable batteries, ensuring terminals are protected against short circuits and packaging is clearly marked. Deliveries are set for destination points including Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo and Winder, Georgia.

General Info

Zephyr International LLC will supply four ZGS-10056-1 batteries within ten days of order.
