The contract solicits four units of a sealed lead acid storage battery, part number IP98001 from IntelliPower Inc., with NSN 6140016009562, under solicitation SPE7L7-26-T-4679 for delivery to Camp Kinser, Japan, with FOB destination terms and a strict 20-day delivery window. The battery must meet Type I shelf-life requirements of 12 months, non-extendable, and must be packaged and marked in strict compliance with MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, including the special marking code 32 indicating Type I shelf life. All packaging must adhere to DLA’s RP001 packaging standards, and any battery exceeding 75 pounds must have die-cut holes on both ends for handle access. Sampling for quality assurance must follow MIL-STD-1916, ASQ H1331 Table 1, or an equivalent zero-based sampling plan, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively.
