Solicitation # SPE7L7-27-Q-0034
Solicitation SPE7L7-27-Q-0034 is a firm-fixed-price request for quotations issued by the Defense Logistics Agency for the procurement of four 12-volt maintenance-free, wet-charged lead-acid storage batteries (NSN 6140-01-337-0210). The requirement is split into two line items: one unit for Naval Construction Group 2 in Gulfport, Mississippi, and three units for Amphibious Construction Battalion 1 in San Diego, California. Delivery is required within 60 days after receipt of order, with shipping terms set as FOB Destination. The batteries are classified as corrosive hazardous materials and must be shipped via the fastest traceable means, excluding parcel post. Compliance with MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, MIL-STD-129 for marking, and RP001 for palletization is mandatory. The items are designated as Type I with a non-extendable shelf life of six months and require MSDS/PSDS documentation per FED-STD-313. Quality assurance will be managed through destination inspection and acceptance using zero-based sampling plans such as MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. Contractors must adhere to various federal regulations, including the Buy American and Balance of Payments Program, and maintain basic safeguarding of covered contractor information systems. Invoicing and payment will be processed electronically through the Wide Area Workflow system. Quotations must be submitted to the DLA Land and Maritime office in Columbus, Ohio, by October 14, 2026, and must remain valid for 90 days.
