Solicitation SPE4A6-27-T-5330 is a request from the Defense Logistics Agency for the procurement of nine airframe ball bearings, identified by NSN 3110-00-269-4710. This is a critical application item and a Foreign Military Sales requirement for Turkey, with delivery required within 20 days after the order is placed. The contract specifies FOB Origin terms, with both inspection and acceptance occurring at the origin. Technical and quality requirements must strictly conform to the cited drawing and part number, and the manufacturer's inspection system must comply with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001 tailored to SAE AS9003. A critical requirement of this solicitation is the restriction on the acquisition of ball and roller bearings. Awards are limited to bearings manufactured in the United States, its outlying areas, or Canada, with at least 50 percent of the total cost of the bearing components originating from these regions. Offerors must provide a contractor's declaration regarding the domestic or foreign nature of the material. Additionally, the item contains technical data subject to ITAR or EAR export controls, requiring contractors to have approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification. Packaging and marking must adhere to MIL-DTL-197M, MIL-STD-129, and MIL-STD-2073-1E, and all invoicing must be processed through the Wide Area WorkFlow system.
