This contract solicits the procurement of 16 annular ball bearings with NSN 3110-01-316-1511, identified as a commercial off-the-shelf item, under solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-01KW. All bearings must be manufactured in the United States, its outlying areas, or Canada, and the cumulative cost of domestic components—including rolling elements, retainers, inner races, and outer races—must exceed 50% of the total bearing component cost, in compliance with DFARS Clause 252.225-7016. Contractors are required to submit a declaration verifying the domestic origin of materials, obtainable from the DLA Foreign Bearing Waiver website; failure to provide this documentation may disqualify the quote. In the absence of compliant offerings, the solicitation may be canceled or held pending a waiver request under DFARS 225.7009-4. The bearings must be delivered FOB origin within 20 days, with no variance in quantity accepted, and inspected and accepted at the destination. Packaging, preservation, and marking must strictly follow MIL-STD-2073-1E, MIL-DTL-197M, and MIL-STD-129, with specific preservation methods determined by bearing type and closure. Mercury or mercury compounds are prohibited except for approved functional uses such as batteries or sensors, and all items must comply with DLA packaging and labeling standards, including the use of the specified packaging code U and special marking code ZZ. Unit of issue is each, with a total contract value of $256.00 at $16.00 per unit. Item Unique Identification is not required per the service customer’s request.
