AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPEA46-26-T-27MF, issued by the DLA Aviation ASC Commodities Division, is for the procurement of annular ball bearings (NSN 3110-01-019-9732). The requirement consists of two line items totaling 398 units, with delivery expected within 520 days. Offerors must provide a formal declaration regarding the domestic or foreign nature of the materials and are prohibited from using additive manufacturing processes unless specifically authorized. The contract mandates strict quality and security compliance, requiring manufacturers to adhere to SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001 standards. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the origin. Due to the nature of the technical data, eligible offerors must possess an approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification and authorization from the DLA to access export-controlled data. Packaging and marking must comply with MIL-DTL-197M, MIL-STD-2073-1E, and MIL-STD-129.
