Solicitation SPE4A6-27-T-7654, issued by the DLA Weapons Support ASC Commodities Division, is a request for quotations for 471 annular ball bearings (NSN 3110-01-160-2185). This is designated as a critical application item requiring adherence to specific technical data, including Basic Drawing NR 05606 176C2461 and Reference QAP 13873 QAP-B02. The procurement includes a mandatory Government First Article Test, requiring the delivery of two units to Robins AFB, Georgia, within 30 calendar days of the contract award. Final delivery is scheduled for March 12, 2028, with shipping handled under the First Destination Transportation program and FOB Origin terms. The contract imposes strict sourcing and quality requirements, restricting awards to bearings manufactured in the United States, its outlying areas, or Canada, with at least 50 percent of the component cost originating in these regions. Technical data is subject to ITAR or EAR export controls, and contractors must be approved via the US/Canada Joint Certification Program. Quality standards require the manufacturer's inspection system to comply with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001. Packaging must follow MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, with specific hazardous material labeling per 29 CFR 1910.1200. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and compliance with DFARS cybersecurity and safeguarding standards.
