Solicitation Number SPE4A6-21-R-XB65 is a commercial indefinite delivery contract issued by DLA Aviation for the procurement of Plain Rod End Bearings. The contract consists of a three-year base period with two one-year option periods, totaling a potential five-year duration. The acquisition covers two specific National Stock Numbers: 3120-01-172-6636 and 3120-01-174-0607, with RBC Transport Dynamics Corp identified as the approved source. These components are classified as Critical Safety, Flight Safety, and Critical Application Items, necessitating strict adherence to quality and traceability standards. The estimated annual demand for the first bearing is 289 units, while the second bearing has an estimated annual demand of 293 units. Delivery terms are set as FOB Destination with inspection and acceptance occurring at the origin. Due to a lack of responses to the initial sources sought notice, the government utilized a justification for other than full and open competition to pursue a sole source or limited competition award. Eligible respondents, including surplus and small business dealers, are required to provide adequate traceability documentation or a completed government surplus certificate to ensure product acceptability.
