Solicitation SPE4A6-27-T-8918, issued by the DLA Weapons Support ASC Commodities Division, is a request for the procurement of 56 annular ball bearings (NSN 3110012020156). The items are designated as critical application items and must be delivered FOB Origin to the DLA Distribution San Joaquin facility in Tracy, California, within 171 days. The procurement is subject to strict domestic sourcing restrictions under DFARS 252.225-7016, requiring that the bearings be manufactured in the United States, its outlying areas, or Canada, with at least 50 percent of the component cost originating from these regions. Contractors must provide a formal declaration regarding the domestic or foreign nature of the materials offered to be considered for award. Technical compliance requires the manufacturer's inspection system to meet ISO 9001:2015 or an equivalent standard, and the use of additive manufacturing is prohibited unless specifically authorized. Packaging, preservation, and marking must strictly adhere to MIL-DTL-197M, MIL-STD-2073-1E, and MIL-STD-129, with specific attention to the DLA packaging requirements outlined in RP001. Quality assurance is further governed by the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, including RQ001 for higher-level quality and RT001 for measuring and test equipment. Invoicing and payment must be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow system. Evaluation preferences may be granted for expedited delivery schedules or for HUBZone concerns.
