This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase request number is F2XJA8074A001 as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24 (31 Mar 2008) and Defense Federal Acquisition regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20080331. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is for the purchase of the following items: CLIN 0001: Bed sheet: Flat, twin size, white, 66'x96 EA: 400; CLIN 0002: Bed sheet: fitted, twin size, white, 38'x80'x9 EA: 400; CLIN 0003: Pillow : Standard size, white, 20'x26 EA: 400; CLIN 0004: Pillow case: Standard size, white, 20-1/2'x27-1/2 EA: 400; CLIN 0005: Comforter: Twin size, navy blue, 66'x86 EA: 400; CLIN 0006: Mattress Pad: fitted, twin size, white, 38'x80 EA: 400. This requirement is for the HQ AFROTC. The acquisition is solicited for total small business. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 314129 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order; FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors, Commercial Item (Nov 2007) and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997) applies to this acquisition. Submit signed and dated quotes on company letterhead. The government will make an award to the lowest priced, responsible, contractor whose quote conforms to the solicitation. The contractor must be registered in the central Contractor Registration database and Wide Area Workflow. Offerors must be re registered in the Online Representations and Certifications system at http://orca.bpn.gov and provide a completed DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance of Payment Program Certificate (Jun 2005) with the quote. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via internet, http://farsite.hill.af.mil.
