The New York City Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a consultant to provide Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Management Services to augment the Bureau of Engineering Design and Construction. This as-needed, task-order based contract involves a variety of specialized services, including EHS management system auditing, program development, field support, incident investigation, and technical design support. The consultant will also be responsible for developing and presenting EHS training on topics such as confined spaces, fall prevention, and OSHA-10/30 requirements. The anticipated contract term is 1,095 calendar days, with an emphasis on compliance with BEDC EHS standards and federal regulations such as 29 CFR 1910. Award selection is based on the most advantageous proposal, where the highest technically ranked firm will enter price negotiations. Financial constraints include a maximum hourly rate of $420.00, with caps on compensation for principals (35% of the maximum contract amount) and subconsultants (49% of the maximum contract amount).
