Scope: The work described in these Special Provisions consists of the removal and replacement of improvements at Bertha Henschel Park, located at 160 45th Street in Sacramento. The project includes demolishing the existing restroom building, associated concrete flatwork, and the wood shade structure. Additional improvements include grading and preparing the pad/subgrade for the new restroom building; installing sewer, water, and electrical connections; coordinating the new restroom building installation with the Public Restroom Co., placing aggregate base and new concrete flatwork around the new restroom; and constructing a 6-inch raised curb. The work also includes removing and replacing the drinking fountain, basketball posts, backboards, and nets; applying an asphalt seal coat; restriping the basketball court; relocating existing turf rotors; turf seeding; landscape maintenance; and installing new picnic tables and a concrete park sign.
