The work include relocation of electric underground primary lines, installation of a new 4-way primary switch, installation of pad mounted transformers, switchgear(s), shore power igloos and shore power receptacles to provide 5600 amps @ 480V electric supply for ships at Berth 2 for nesting of two NAVY vessels. The structure 202, was constructed in 1989 and serves primarily for mooring home ported and transient ships. A new pile supported concrete pier will be designed and constructed to support the electrical conduits out to the existing pier .The projectwill mitigate power deficiencies in Berth 2 to support Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) plan to berth two cargo loaded vessels long term in MCSF-BI..
