Full Description

Bucks County Community College (BCCC), 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940 is seeking bids from vendors for the replacement of fiber optic cabling to/from the BCCC Rollins Center building as outlined below in the statement of work. Sealed bids shall be received electronically via PennBid, (www.pennbid.net) on or before 10:00am, Prevailing Time, Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Bids received by any other means, or after the deadline will not be considered. Bucks County Community College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive defects or irregularities. Each bidder must deposit with their bid, 10% of the total bid amount in the form of a surety bond, form and subject to the conditions provided in the General Stipulations. In the event the College shall be closed for a snow emergency or any other reason on the scheduled date of the bid opening, the opening of bids shall be on the first College business day after the closing at the same hour and location. The bidder shall be required to comply in all respects with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and Chapter 49, Title 16, of the Pennsylvania Code and any other regulations promulgated hereunder. Before submitting a bid, the bidder shall be cognizant as to all laws, ordinances, insurance, bonds, regulations, wage rates, underwriter approval and shall include in his bid a sum to cover the cost of all items included in the specification and pertinent documents. PA Prevailing Wages are in effect for this project. A Surety Bid Bond of 10% is required.
