The Flood Improvement Project Phase 2A consists of excavating and grading a portion of the regional inline stormwater pond and improving the drainage channels between Stonegate Trail and Rocky Road. The Phase 2B portion of the pond will be constructed separately by others and will consist of excavating and grading the remaining portion of the pond by the developer of the future Avion Park subdivision. Phase 2A and Phase 2B are anticipated to be constructed concurrently and will require coordination between the City’s contractor and the developer’s contractor. Together, the completed improvements will provide additional flood storage and improve drainage in Sadie Heights and the surrounding area.
