SPECIFICATIONS INTENT AND SCOPE The City is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and authorized vendors to establish one or more contracts for the purchase of emergency lighting, warning equipment, vehicle upfitting components, and related public safety vehicle equipment for the City of Tuscaloosa Police Department. The intent of this solicitation is to establish contracts utilizing a fixed percentage discount from the manufacturer’s current published Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), while establishing firm pricing for designed Core Contract Items. Where a manufacturer offers multiple product lines or published price lists, Bidders shall base their bids on the manufacturer’s public safety line, unless otherwise specified in the Bid Response Form.
