The CCS-C Block II program is launching a Bidder's Library accessible online starting in late May, designed to provide companies with essential documentation to prepare competitive proposals. To gain access, companies must submit their name, Cage Code, and a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement for all employees who will use the site to the program office via email. Access credentials and instructions will be provided subsequently as the library is populated incrementally with relevant materials. Additionally, an Industry Day event will take place on June 14, 2011, at Los Angeles Air Force Base, offering program and system overviews and opportunities for direct engagement with the System Program Office (SPO). The morning will feature a general briefing and Q&A session, while the afternoon allows for 25-minute individual contractor meetings with SPO representatives. Participation is particularly encouraged for small and disadvantaged firms under the NAICS code 541330, with a size standard of $27 million. Interested companies must RSVP by June 9, providing company and representative details and indicating whether they wish to schedule a one-on-one meeting. Confirmed participants will receive instructions to complete visit requests to fulfill security and logistical requirements for access during the event.

Fire Alarm engineering for Lewis County
Solicitation # 2026-RFQ-040
Lewis County is soliciting qualifications under solicitation 2026-RFQ-040 for a professional engineering firm to provide comprehensive design and engineering services for fire alarm systems. The project encompasses several County-owned facilities, including the IT Building, Historic Courthouse, Health Building, and Lewis County Jail. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting on-site evaluations to determine the remaining useful life of existing systems, assessing code compliance with NFPA 72, IBC, and IFC standards, and developing bid-ready construction drawings and technical specifications. All designs must be stamped by a licensed electrical engineer familiar with Washington State fire alarm requirements and must integrate smoothly with existing infrastructure to ensure standardized maintenance and operations. Proposals are due by November 10, 2026, via the OpenGov platform and will be evaluated by a committee of at least three County employees using a points-based system. The evaluation criteria are equally weighted at 20 percent each across four categories: firm qualifications (including NICET certifications and licensed engineer availability), responsiveness and capacity to begin work within 30 days, regulatory compliance and permitting records, and the clarity and detail of blueprint designs. Applicants must provide a statement of qualifications, three public agency references from the last five years, and resumes of key personnel. The contract is administered by Matt Patana, Capital Infrastructure Specialist, based in Chehalis, Washington.
