Bilge Area Preservation - Fire Pump and Refrigerant Machinery Room 6-45-0-E

This subcontract involves surface preparation and preservation services for the USS TRIPOLI (LHA-7) at the US Navy SRF Sasebo. The scope of work focuses on the Fire Pump and Refrigerant Machinery Room 6-45-0-E, requiring the contractor to deliver a preserved and coated 1,000 square foot bilge area. Key technical requirements include high-pressure cleaning, gas-freeing, and ventilation of bilge spaces, as well as solvent cleaning to SSPC-SP-1 standards. The contractor is responsible for applying bridge red and bilge red coatings and installing CRES fasteners. Due to the nature of the work in confined spaces, gas-free certification is mandatory. This project is managed under the Department of Defense via the Navsup Flt Logistics Ctr Yokosuka, with a response deadline of September 15, 2026.
