Full Description

Offutt Air Force Base intends to utilize other than full and open competition to award a contract to Detect Inc. The contract is to provide non-personal services in the form a Bird Strike Radar warranty to support 55th Wing Safety. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 and the size standard is $19 Million. There is a Justification and Approval (J&A) for other than full and open competition that will be made available on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). Per FAR reference 6.302-1(Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements); DeTect Inc. is the only known source to provide maintenance for their equipment. This contract will have one (1) base period with four (4) option years. 55th CONS intends to award a contract resulting from this synopsis on a sole source basis, as DeTect Inc. was identified as the only company that can provide the warranty extension for repair and upgrades on their proprietary software and equipment.
