The Department of Defense, through the FA4484 87 Cons Pk office, is conducting market research via Request for Information FA448422P0005 to explore the availability of bird waste cleaning services at Joint Base MDL in Cape May, New Jersey. This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under FAR 19.5, exclusively reserved for small businesses, and is solely for market research purposes with no intent to award a contract at this time. The requirement calls for annual cleaning of eight specified buildings and hangars—1751, 1757, 1817, 1837, 2251, 2253, 3209, and 3211—with each location needing four cleanings per year to remove bird waste from structural beams, walls, floors, door tracks, ledges, and other designated surfaces. All work must be performed by contractors who provide their own personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, and materials.
