This contract is for the procurement of 50 units of a Cooling Blanket designed for hyperthermia treatment, identified by NSN 6532-01-653-6054. Each blanket is made from Polar Skin Mini-Mesh material saturated with Arcticaqua, which activates in response to elevated body temperature to promote evaporative cooling. The blankets measure 36 inches by 30 inches, weigh 0.6 pounds, and are individually packaged in durable foil pouches that prevent air and moisture ingress. The packaging and shipping conform to commercial standards and specific Department of Defense medical marking requirements, ensuring protection during transit and safe delivery to the designated location at Fort Bliss within 5 days. The contract requires a non-extendable shelf life of 60 months for each unit, with no more than 9 months elapsed from manufacture to delivery date. The procurement adheres to technical and quality standards specified in the Defense Logistics Agency's master list and maintains compliance with applicable marking and packaging regulations. Government identification must be removed from any supplies not accepted, and the contract stipulates that the lowest transportation rates must be used. The solicitation is managed by the Medical Supply Chain FSH under the Department of Defense, with Tina Vu as the primary point of contact.
