The Department of Justice, through the ATF Acquisition and Property Management Division, is issuing a brand name justification for the procurement of one Roshel Senator Emergency Response Vehicle, part number RBB-126. This urgent acquisition is driven by the aging state of the current SRT program fleet, with some vehicles dating back to 2008, resulting in high maintenance costs and the need for expensive freight transport due to vehicle unreliability. The procurement is being conducted under solicitation number DJA-26-ASOD-PR-0537 via a GSA Schedule/MAS. Roshel, LLC has been identified as the sole provider capable of meeting the critical delivery requirement of 60 days or less, whereas other contractors have indicated delivery timelines as long as 18 months. This specific vehicle will be used for testing and evaluation to determine if Roshel will become the primary provider for all future armored vehicle needs. The place of performance is located in Washington, District of Columbia, and the procurement is categorized under NAICS code 336992.

Full Description

This is an urgent need for our SRT program as our current fleet of Armored Vehicles is aged and in need of an update.  Several of our current Armored Vehicles date back to 2008.  Because of the age and mileage of current vehicles, we frequently must pay freight companies to move them (as opposed to driving) when the commute time is more than a couple of hours. Roshel is the only vendor that can fill this need in 60 days or less, previous contractor stated final delivery will be 18 months. This Armored Vehicle is being procured to save valuable time in receiving the final delivery and to be tested and evaluated to determine if the future of all Armored Vehicles will now be procured with Roshel, LLC.
